TRNSMT launches sustainable fashion trail across Glasgow ahead of festival

Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT has teamed up with Glasgow’s sustainable fashion markets, vintage shops and brands for a city-wide fashion trail.

The trail will run on 25th May and covers venues including Barras Market, Off The Rails at VEGA Glasgow, Mr Bens, Minted and West Vintage.

Fans will be able to shop second-hand, vintage and independent brands, with ten pairs of festival tickets available for those who find golden labels hidden along the trail.

There will be live performances from artists on the BBC Introducing lineup and Radio 1 Dance Stage DJs at The Barras and VEGA.

The trail starts at the Barras Market from 12pm, close to Glasgow Green, the site of the festival in July.

Fans can browse pre-loved clothes, upcycled pieces and get advice from sustainability champions.

The route continues through Kings Court, including shops like Mr Bens Retro Clothing, Minted and West Vintage, with festival picks curated by Victoria Lee.

The day finishes at VEGA Glasgow, where a special edition of Off The Rails will take place.

Local brands and makers will feature, and guests can shop influencers’ wardrobes. TRNSMT-themed cocktails will be served.

Neil Taylor, general manager at VEGA Glasgow, said: “We’re really excited to be teaming up with TRNSMT as the final stop on the Sustainable Fashion Trail.

“We’ll be hosting a festival edition of our quarterly Off The Rail pop-up that has been bringing a fresh take to how people shop independent brands.

“Guests can expect the usual Off The Rails experience, but with a festival twist, themed cocktails and some live performances.”
