Asda launches standalone George store in Leeds

Asda has announced it will open a new standalone George store at Crown Point Retail Park in Leeds.

The shop will stock George home and fashion ranges, plus toys, baby items and a café.

The company confirmed the news after speculation from customers on social media about the location.

The new Leeds store is being launched as a trial.

If it proves successful, it could lead to more George stores opening across the UK and replace Asda Living sites.

The shop will also feature updated checkouts and self-serve options.

The George brand is currently available in 560 Asda stores nationwide.
