Lidl launches Oasis-inspired jacket
Lidl has launched a limited-edition jacket designed for fans of Oasis and Lidl, timed for the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour.
The jacket, priced at £30, features two built-in drink cooling pockets, a bottle opener zipper, and a Lidl badge in the iconic supermarket colours.
It was unveiled on a mural outside Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, a nod to Oasis’s ‘Wonderwall’.
The jacket is part of Lidl’s ongoing merchandise collections, which have gained popularity quickly.
Joanna Gomer, marketing director at Lidl GB, said: “We wanted to create something iconic in celebration of the reunion tour and our 30-year anniversary.
“The ‘Lidl by Lidl’ jacket is more than just merch – it’s a tribute to our fans, the moments, and the memories that have defined the last three decades.”
Fans can buy the jacket from www.lidlbylidl.co.uk at 10am on 9th July.
All proceeds will go to the NSPCC.
The launch also included the reveal of a 30ft wonderwall mural outside Manchester, inspired by Oasis’s ‘Definitely Maybe’ album.
The release coincides with the band’s Manchester shows and aims to appeal to fans heading to the gigs or shopping at Lidl.
The jacket’s features include cooler pockets, a bottle opener, and a badge, making it a functional piece of fan merchandise.
