Topshop returns to high street through retail partnerships

Topshop is set to return to the high street through outlets in other retailers’ stores, owner Asos said.

The fashion brand has already signed deals with retail partners and is looking for more, bringing Topshop clothing back to shoppers across the UK.

At present, there are no plans for standalone Topshop stores or concessions, but the company has not ruled this out for the future.

A new standalone website for Topshop is due to relaunch later this year, marking a further step in rebuilding the brand’s independent identity since Asos acquired it in 2021.

José Antonio Ramos Calamonte, chief executive at Asos, said: “The time has come to become much more present with consumers in the UK and globally.”

The decision comes as high street brands continue to adapt to changes in the retail market, and Asos looks to strengthen Topshop’s presence both online and through its new retail partnerships.
