Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger join Cotswolds Designer Outlet

Cotswolds Designer Outlet is adding Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to its line-up of retailers ahead of its summer opening.

The scheme has now reached 87% exchanged on its phase 1 space of 119,150 square feet, following earlier announcements of 44 brands.

The developer, Robert Hitchins, is working with specialist manager multi-realm.

The project is on track to be 98% let by the time it opens.

Other recent signings include BOSS, Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Levi’s, GUESS, Radley, Sweaty Betty and Under Armour.

Simon Tothill, property and development director at Robert Hitchins, said: “Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger are an incredible addition to the line-up, and with more names to be shared soon, there is a hugely compelling story for the many retail brands who are already expressing interest in Phase 2.

“This project has been many years in the making, a long-term vision to bring forward an exceptional retail-led development in this strategic location that would provide an economic boost with huge jobs opportunities for the region, and a vibrant retail and dining offer at its heart.

“We’re now at a particularly important milestone in the build programme, as we hand over to retailers and brands to commence their individual shop-fits.”

Tothill added: “With only a few more weeks to opening, all our teams, consultants, contractors and partners are working together to fine tune the details for what will be the go-to shopping destination for visitors from near and far; enjoying a full day out in a beautifully designed, Cotswolds-inspired retail setting.”

Multi-realm is leading leasing and will manage the asset once open.

Christine Grace, leasing director at multi-realm, said: “There is a phenomenal momentum as we get closer to opening, and welcoming premium brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger alongside BOSS, Radleys, GUESS, Rituals and more, is a real testament to the premium quality and elevated experience that we are creating here at Cotswolds Designer Outlet.

“Having curated this stellar line-up of retail and dining brands that complement a full day out as part of the destination appeal of the Cotswolds, it is no surprise that we are already receiving strong interest from brands keen to be part of the Phase 2 programme.”

With only a few weeks left until opening, works are focusing on handover to the brands for shop fitting.

The development is the only new retail scheme due to open in the UK this year.
