Newbie expands UK store network for 2025

Newbie, part of the Kappahl Group, is continuing its international expansion with a plan to open six new stores in the UK in 2025.

The retailer will increase its UK presence from seven to 13 stores.

The first new store will open in Bromley in May, followed by Windsor and four other locations around London.

This is part of Newbie’s long-term strategy to build its presence in key markets and to meet higher demand.

Thomas Kusoffsky, vice president at Newbie, said: “The British market is exciting and full of potential, and we are eagerly looking forward to continuing our growth journey here.

“Our British customers have given Newbie a very warm reception and they clearly appreciate our focus on timeless design, our nostalgic style and our PreLoved concept.

“The UK is an important market in our global expansion strategy, as we aim to also establish the Newbie brand in more markets across Europe.

“At the beginning of 2025, we launched our online store in Germany.”

Newbie has expanded its online offer through Zalando, with customers now able to buy its products in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria.

The company will continue with further expansion and additional initiatives into 2026.
