Sam Fischer to retire from Burberry board in July

Burberry has announced that Sam Fischer will retire from the board in July 2025 after the annual general meeting (AGM).

Fischer, who joined the board in November 2019, will step down to focus on his business interests in Australia.

He will remain a member of the remuneration and nomination committees until his departure.

Gerry Murphy, chair of Burberry, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sam for his commitment and insightful contributions to the Board since joining in 2019.

“The Board and I wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
