Afflecks in Manchester’s Northern Quarter has reached full capacity this year, with 14 new traders joining the centre.

There are now 70 businesses operating in the building and Afflecks reported 1.3 million visitors last year.

The new traders include Nail & Coffin, an alternative beauty studio; No Good Studio, which offers custom print streetwear; Victoria Jayne Cosmetics, selling handmade, cruelty-free cosmetics and cleaning products; Moksha Soul, with South Asian style clothing and homewares; JHKicks, specialising in preloved and restored trainers; and Nouen, which offers Japanese-influenced vintage clothing.

Other additions are Mini World Emporium, selling miniature toys and gifts; Rkid Clothing, with Manchester-inspired clothing; Oak Apple Plants, a family-run plant shop; Naughty Slabs, a handmade confectionery and gift store; Indie White, offering vintage and own brand menswear; Root & Tincture Apocathery, supplying health and wellbeing products and advice; Kawaii Killmonster, with horror and kawaii-led clothing and collectables; and Definitely Maybe, a bar and live music venue themed around Oasis.

AJ Martyn, general manager at Afflecks, said: “We’ve welcomed so many new faces and customers in 2025, which is brilliant to see.

“Even in the face of economic challenges, which are affecting the whole industry, the Afflecks fanbase grows stronger with every year which is testament to the diverse and talented businesses that have made a home in the building.

“With so many exciting new traders joining us, there’s even more reason to stop by and see what Afflecks has to offer and support authentic small businesses we head into the summer.”
